• Turn off the water supply to the faucet and plug the drain with a cloth to prevent small parts from falling down.
• Remove the old supply line from the faucet and the supply pipe by unscrewing the nuts with a wrench or pliers. You may need to use a basin wrench if the nuts are hard to reach.
• Wrap Teflon tape or apply pipe joint compound to the threads of the new supply line connector and the fittings on the supply pipe and the faucet. This will create a seal and prevent leaks.
